Informal Letter Writing in English

An informal letter is one which you typically write to someone you know, such as a friend or a family member. They are written in a friendlier and familiar style than a formal letter, which adheres to rigid layout and style guidelines. Informal letters are more flexible in terms of adhering to these principles and can take on a variety of formats. 

I am happy to let you know that we enjoyed a nice picnic on Saturday last. We were 35 in number. Our English teacher Mr. Abdul Awal went with us as our guide. The venue was the mazar of Khan Jahan Ali at Bagerhat. We hired a bus and started for Bagerhat from our school campus at Khalispur early in the morning. We arrived at the mazar of Khan Jahan Ali at about 9:30 a.m. We set up our camp on the west bank of the big tank. 

After breakfast, we visited the famous Shat Gambuj Mosque built by Khan Jahan Ali and paid respect to the departed soul of the great saint Khan Jahan Ali. The design and architecture of the mosque impressed us all. We returned to our camp after an hour. Then we cooked our food and ate them to our heart's content. After taking some rest, we again went out to see the other important things of the mazar area. At about 6 p.m. we set out for Khalispur and arrived at the campus before dusk.

My deepest affection is for you. I assume your First Terminal Examination is over, and you will be enjoying a month of summer vacation. I'd like to invite you to stay with me in my hometown for a few days during your next holiday. I am certain that you will enjoy your stay here.

I've already planned a schedule of our activities that will provide you with both pleasure and satisfaction. Mangoes, jack fruits, blackberries, and other summer fruits are popular in our region. We have a large orchard on our property. You will have the option to devour them to your heart's content if you arrive. You will be able to visit the 'Boro Dighi,' which is located near our residence, once more. I believe you will like your visit to the beautiful ancient Dighi. A compassionate Hindu Zemindar excavated it in the early part of the nineteenth century. Apart from that, you will get the chance to visit my uncle's home, which is located close to the Jhinai River. It is a lovely and appealing location. Garos, Bangladesh's tribal people, may be found here. You can gain knowledge about their lifestyles, cultures, and social activities. So come on over.

Everyone should have a regular work regimen in order to make the best use of their time. A daily routine enables a person to complete his tasks on time. My everyday activity is structured. I fully adhere to it. My day normally starts early in the morning. When I get out of bed, I usually brush my teeth, wash my hands, face, and feet, and then say my morning prayer. After praying, I go out for a walk in the fresh air. At six o'clock, I return home and have my breakfast, which my mother has cooked for me. After I finish my breakfast, I head to my reading room to prepare my lessons for the day. I take a bath and eat my breakfast between 10 and 11 a.m. Then I go to school and remain until 4:30 p.m. I always sit on the first bench and pay attention to what my teachers have to say. When school is over. I return home without a hiccup. Then I grab a light snack and go to the field to play with my pals. I return home just before nightfall to say my evening prayer. After that, I return to my reading room and study until 10 p.m. I usually eat dinner at 10 p.m. After dinner, I complete my Esha prayer and go to bed. On vacation, I spend my time with my friends visiting various fascinating areas. In a nutshell, this is about my everyday life and activities.

On January 10, 2020, I went to the Mirpur Zoo with a few of my buddies. The weather was perfect. We arrived there around 3:00 p.m. We entered the zoo after purchasing tickets at the ticket booth. When we initially arrived at the monkey home, we saw them shouting and leaping from one bar to the next. We tossed some peanuts at them and watched as they happily ate them. Then we got up close to the Royal Bengal Tigers. It was a well-guarded place. We noticed a number of tigers in various iron cages. They seemed to be fierce and majestic in their gaze. We then approached the lions. They were agitated and moved about within the cages, letting out horrifying and scary roars. Following that, we proceeded to observe rhinoceros, which we spotted moving in muddy water. Our attention was then directed to a location with several stunning deer. Their large and lovely eyes drew us in. We next proceeded to view the snakes, crocodiles, zebras, and a variety of other aquatic and land species. Finally, we went to the birds' home, which housed a variety of species. It took us more than two hours to complete our tour of the zoo. We left the zoo in a good mood, having gained fresh experiences and information about many birds and animals.
